Summer is in full swing. It's a good time for people to go for outdoor recreation. However, do we always put safety first while having fun?
Last month the party, Color Play Asia, which was supposed to be fun and entertaining, turned out to be a tragedy in Formosa Water Park (八仙水上樂園). Nearly 500 people were burned by expanding fireballs in the dust explosion. Many of the victims are still hospitalized.
In our next Toastmasters meeting, we'd like to talk about this unfortunate accident. Please tell us anything you heard about it. You may want to tell us a story, may it be sad or touching. You can also share with us what you learn from this lesson or what we should do to prevent injury in the outdoor activities.
