Speech contests are a Toastmasters tradition. Each year, thousands of Toastmasters compete in the Humorous, Evaluation, Table Topics and International speech contests. Competition begins with club contests and winners continue competing through the area, division, district and all new region quarterfinal levels. Region quarterfinal winners advance to the International competition, where they will compete in the semifinals for a chance to take part in the World Championship of Public Speaking®.

Agenda:
Here comes our show time in spring! This coming Saturday (3/12) we'll hold an in-house contest. We are honored to have our Charter President & Former District Governor, Jack Tsai, as our Contest Chair and Division E Director, Clare Lu, as our Chief Judge.

Tentative Agenda:
Life is more amusing than we thought. Have you taken a close look at the humorous side of your life lately? Our in-house humorous speech contestants would like to share their funny moments with you. They will definitely tickle your funny bone and relax your facial muscle. Please be aware that we won't have doctors stand by at site if you laugh so hard that your jaw drops.
Also, three contestants will compete for the first place in the evaluation contest. Who will be our secret target speaker and who's going to win? Please come and find out.
Let's enjoy the funniest Saturday afternoon together on 9/12.
Humor helps us in every aspect of our life. That's why we practice humorous speeches. We're so happy to have 8 contestants in YZU In-House Contest on 9/28. Please attend YZU In-House Contest and you'll see 8 "comedians" talking about their funny stories.
