2011.12.24 News Flash
16:51December 24 was the day before Christmas and also the last meeting of YZU Toastmaster Club in 2011. We had a great meeting and lots of fun afternoon.
Here are our news flash:
Today, our meeting started at prepare speech session.Today, we have four great speaker.

Today, her speech was so great and amazing. Well prepare, great speech organization and also have strong conclusion.
Sheila, her speech title was "A New Angle Makes a New Life". She talked a story. A mom birth a baby and found out her baby didn't have one arms. If you were she, you may feel anger, said.Why? Why me? But this mother is different. She wasn't anger. She user different way to see the things. She said her Baby was so beautiful.
This story reminded me the book I saw this year. This books was "Never give up", and it wrote by Nick vujicic. Nike was a person who don't have arms and legs. When you read his book or hear his speech, you will find out he was so optimistic. When something was so bad. But on the other hand, it couldn't be worse and it will get better later. That will help you to feel better and also give you some courage to go ahead.

Roger, his speech title was "Heaven, Hell, and your bucket". When we were young, we have been taught be quiet, No complain. We stay at hell but we don't complain and leave away. For example, we hate our jobs but we still stay at the same company. Sometimes you need step our your comfort room and you will find your heaven.

※Gift Exchange Session
After Table topics session and Evaluation Session, that was our Gift Exchange session. This time the rule was different from last time. When host taking up one gift, if you like it you need to rise your hand. For example, there were 18 people in the room. If there 5 people rise their hand ( less than average) they have chance to rise again. On the other hand, if there 13 people rise their hand, other 5 people have a change to get the gift. Well~~ It's so difficult rule to get the gift which you want.
